Traditional Foods in Al-Qatif

The Culinary Arts Commission organized the Traditional Foods Festival in Al-Qatif, with Next Level Company responsible for supervision, organization, and execution. The festival was held in Al-Ramis District in the center of Al-Awamiyah, Qatif Governorate, and lasted for ten days from December 21 to December 30, 2025. The festival was presented as a cultural event highlighting traditional Saudi culinary arts, offering visitors an integrated tasting experience that reflects the diversity and authenticity of local cuisine, within a framework that celebrates Saudi food heritage and strengthens its presence in the cultural scene. The festival aimed to showcase Saudi food heritage as a key component of cultural identity through live demonstrations displaying the skills and methods of preparing traditional dishes by culinary specialists, in addition to introducing traditional cooking techniques associated with different regions of the Kingdom. The festival also included specialized pavilions featuring a curated selection of innovative foods and beverages prepared with Saudi ingredients, reflecting the Kingdom's diverse geographical and cultural environments and providing visitors with a comprehensive cultural and culinary experience.
